The Substitute is the world's first ever reality-style game show to take place in a high school classroom.
A Phear Creative original concept, the show challenges students to compete against each other in rounds of trivia for a chance to win $5,000.00.
As soon as our host, "The Substitute" (Jon Gabrus), walks in the classroom he announces to the students that 'today will not be like any other school day...' And that's when the fun begins. He pops open a briefcase full of cash and the students go head to head in games that test 'Things they should know,' (academics), and 'Things they do know,' (pop culture).
The show continues until one lucky winner walks away with all the dough... OR the people's choice wins and splits all the money with the class!
