Director of new business

Phear Creative is looking for a smart, passionate, down-to-earth, hard working New Business Director. Your role will be to lead the new business efforts for the agency, working hand in hand with our marketing & senior leadership team.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Develop the annual marketing plan in concert with key stakeholders
  • Lead all new business efforts at the agency to execute against marketing plan
    • Key focus on lead generation/prospecting in order to secure meetings
    • Cultivate relationships with prospective clients and relevant consultants when appropriate
  • Ignite a growth culture in which everyone is invested in new business in addition to their daily responsibilities

Day to Day Structure

  • Lead prospecting efforts including phone calls, emails, in-person meetings/networking
  • Manage all aspects of new business process from prospecting and initial client contacts through the full pitch process including owning/coordinating deck development and participating in client meetings when appropriate
  • Case study/marketing materials development and refinement for written and video case studies in partnership with appropriate account and PR leadership as well as the video editing/production and design teams. Emails, shelf-ready materials such as video or printed assets, thought leadership pieces, etc.
  • Key author of RFIs/RFPs and pitch decks
  • Ensure Executive Leadership Team is aware of opportunities and relevant industry news to capitalize as well as authoring trend/technology-focused, actionable intelligence decks, dossiers and reports
